Ballerina is completely unnecessary and skippable. The Riddle is hoorendous and has too much spoken vocals in it which are a pain to listen to. Answers is probably my favourite as it's very melodic. The Animal is quite decent and has a hard edge too. Liberty is a decent opener and quite melodic too, Erotic Nightmares is filler garbage. The decent tracks here are excellent while the filler is terrible. I've never been a huge fan of Vai, not least because he's horrendously overrated and lauded as some sort of guitar-God when he's slightly above average at best. Pretty good instrumental release by STEVE VAI with his unique sound and approach!"the riddle " and "for the love of god" are great songs ,but overall the rest isnt as catchy as it should be although the musicianship is excellent!ok release ,a classic instrumental of its era He is my inspiration when I play my guitar on my band

Great album to me this and satch's surfing with the alien are the great instrumental albums this rocks also and is fun coll videos for it too i gotta say

He got a little funky later on in his career but this is is just stellar !! This is a must have for any guitar player and for anyone who just likes rock'n'roll. This is by far one of the best instrumental albums out there. An amazing instrumental cd that begs attention. How many instrumental cd's out there today on the market could a person play in a public setting & draw a huge crowd of spellbound listeners, especially the whole album? Not many, but this is one. This one is undoubtly a guitar masterpiece! One of the best instrumental albums ever! Overrated big time !īest virtuoso instrumental record ever. As a guitarist I was amazed by this album. Maybe not as confused as some of his latest offerings though. I do think, however, that his virtuosity, experimentation and, at times, weird and wacky style might leave all but the true rockers and axemaniacs a little confused and bewildered. This is probably the first album to listen to if you want a taste of his music.
STEVE VAI PASSION AND WARFARE TRACK LIST FULL
Vai in full throttle with his 7 string axe. What a great start to guitar music of the 90's! Mr. If you like your wailing IBANEZ' and roaring fretwork, get your hands on this guitar masterpeice!!!!! As for tracks 1,3,7,8,9,11 & parts of 10, they are f***in' first class tracks. Great playing on this CD, but you can already tell he was starting to get pretentious.įor a start I shouldn't have to tell anybody who STEVE VAI is (even though some of you might reply with STEVE WHO? for a laugh!!!).This is a very good album but unfortunately you can not listen to all the tracks more than about 3 times. 'I Would Love To' and 'For The Love of God' are my fav's off of this one. Long as they are at least 4 songs in length.Įxisting comments about this CD From: TIM Please only submit officialĬD releases no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.ĮPs and CD-singles from Steve Vai are also welcome to be added, as Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or liveĬompilation CD, we want to add it to the site.
